NASHVILLE: The Titans continued their practice at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park on Friday in order to get ready for their game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Here are the latest happenings as of today:
-Jaelyn Duncan, a rookie, will start at left tackle for the Titans on Sunday.
The announcement was made by coach Mike Vrabel during today’s practice.
Duncan, a 2023 NFL Draft sixth-round selection, has appeared in four games for the Titans this year, replacing starters at both tackle positions off the bench.
“They just told me to come in here every day and prepare like a starter – make sure you take a lot of notes, and make sure you take care of your body,” Duncan explained. “I’ve just been preparing, acting like I’m a beginner and that I’m just getting started right now. I’m just going to go play ball outside, trying not to think too much or get caught up in anything, and just have fun.”
Here are all of the Friday injury updates:
-Receiver Treylon Burks (concussion) was declared out of the game on Sunday after failing to practice again on Friday.
Take on Chris Hubbard (biceps) is out after failing to practice on Friday.
– Security Terrell Edmunds (shoulder) is questionable after being limited on Friday.
-On Friday, linebacker Luke Gifford (shin) participated fully and showed signs of uncertainty.
-Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (thumb) is ready to go after completing a thorough practice run.
-Handle After a thorough session, Andre Dillard (concussion) is cleared to play.
-Will Levis, the quarterback for the Titans (ankle/foot), had a full session and is cleared to play.
-Reversing course Derrick Henry (ankle) is ready to go after getting plenty of practice.
-Receiver DeAndre Hopkins (NIR-Rest) is ready to play after completing a full practice.
Denico Autry, an NIR-Rest defensive lineman, practiced extensively and is cleared to play.
-Safety K’Von Wallace (neck/concussion) has fully practiced and is cleared to proceed.
– Quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is healthy after completing a full practice.
-The Titans have a walkthrough planned for this Saturday before their Nissan Stadium encounter with the Panthers on Sunday.
