This season, the greatest offensive player in the National League goes to the 2023 National League MVP, who was chosen unanimously by his peers.

Ronald Acuña, Jr., the 2023 National League Most Valuable Player and All-Star for the Atlanta Braves, was honored with the National League’s Hank Aaron award for greatest offensive player at an event that took place tonight in Las Vegas.

Acuña, Jr. achieved a remarkable 170 wRC+ and 168 OPS+ as a consequence of his batting average of.337, his on-base percentage of.416, his slugging percentage of.596, and his overall batting % of 1.1012. A total of 217 hits, 35 doubles, four triples, and 41 home runs were collected by him. He also drove in 106 runs, scored 149 times, and collected 217 hits. In addition to that, he walked 80 times and stole 73 bases, which is only four fewer than the total number of strikeouts he had for the season.

During the year 2023, Acuña, Jr. was honored with a number of significant accolades, such as the National League Most Valuable Player award, the title of 2023 TSN Major League Player of the Year, and the Silver Slugger award. Throughout the course of the 2023 season, he was recognized as the National League Player of the Month on three separate occasions: in April, June, and September.

The Hank Aaron Award was presented to the offensive player who was deemed to be the greatest in each league in the year 1999. An audience of fans and members of the Hall of Fame cast their votes in order to determine who will receive what.

Not only does Acuña, Jr. become the third Brave to get this honor, but he also joins the ranks of other legendary actors from the Brave series, such as Freddie Freeman (2020) and Andruw Jones (2008).
