Tiki Barber, a CBS Sports NFL analyst, defended Giants head coach Brian Daboll despite the possibility of defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka leaving the organization this winter.Barber praised Daboll for holding coordinators and assistants accountable, despite the Giants’ alleged temper and in-game outbursts leading to mutual agreement to part ways after Week 18. Team insider Jordan Raanan suggested that the club could let Kafka out of his contract if he doesn’t find a head coach this offseason. Despite the turmoil, Giants general manager Joe Schoen and co-owner John Mara are backing Daboll. The Giants may seek a new head coach and GM in January if Daboll continues to make enemies and lose more than he wins.
