The Pittsburgh Steelers are seeking a quarterback competition for Kenny Pickett in 2024, potentially from Mason Rudolph, a veteran quarterback who has excelled under new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.Tannehill, a veteran quarterback who excelled in Tennessee under Smith, could be a natural fit for Pittsburgh’s Steelers. His success in 2019 and 2020 led the Titans to playoff spots and top-10 finishes. Smith’s history and success with Tannehill could make him an intriguing short-term option, providing an upgrade over Trubisky as a backup.

The Steelers need to improve their quarterbacks to avoid losing in the playoffs. Pickett’s performance in year two is uncertain. The team has strong running backs and pass catchers, but needs to improve their offensive line. First-round pick Broderick Jones has also improved the team’s offensive line.
