New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka has significantly improved the team’s scoring offense in his first two years, despite facing injuries and a decline in 2023, and is reportedly working to retain him in 2024.New York has reportedly prevented Kafka from interviewing for the Seattle Seahawks’ vacant offensive coordinator position, as reported by Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

Former Northwestern and Eagles quarterback Kafka is seeking an offensive coordinator under new coach Mike Macdonald, who was hired from the Baltimore Ravens. Kafka worked under Andy Reid with the Kansas City Chiefs.Seattle is considering former Washington OC Ryan Grubb and Detroit Lions passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand for their roster.
