The dynamic running back tandem of Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris for the Pittsburgh Steelers is back in the NFL, but the team may see a return from a former member.

Le’Veon Bell, a running back, was among the best in the NFL for his position during his five seasons with the Steelers. Bell carried the ball 1,229 times for 5,336 yards and 35 touchdowns in 62 games played in the Steel City.

Bell was forced to sit out and never again wear a Pittsburgh uniform in 2018 due to a contract disagreement that caused a split between him and the Steelers.

Le’Veon Bell, a former All-Pro runner, recently disclosed on his Snapchat account that he will be making an NFL comeback and would only consider playing for one team.He seems to be anticipating being in the finest physical condition of his career and has stated that he will return if Pittsburgh calls. This season, he intends to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bell said in his post,

“My training won’t begin until about March. To be honest with myself, I have to admit that I need to take a risk and put some footwork in. Can I sense it? Do I injure myself? Is it possible for me to return to playing outside? And believe me when I say that I will be better than I have ever been when I go back to the field in March to begin my training, and if in April I decide to return to the NFL to play again. And I’m only going to return for that one squad. Everyone is aware of who it is. I don’t need to mention any team. Everyone is aware of who it is.

During the 2023 season, Bell visited UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and had a potential return meeting with Mike Tomlin, his old coach.
