An ankle injury has handed a severe blow to Titans forward Jacob Alick, causing the team to pull out of the forthcoming Indigenous All Stars campaign.
After suffering a syndesmosis injury during Thursday’s training, scans show that the 24-year-old will miss the representative match in Townsville in order to start his rehabilitation process and get back in shape for the start of the season.
Alofiana Khan-Pereira, a teammate of the Titans, is still a member of the Indigenous team and will go to camp this weekend in preparation for the game at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Friday night.
