Mo Salah made a significant appearance at Liverpool’s training session today. The Egyptian King is making further progress in his recuperation from the muscular strain that ended his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations last month.
The 31-year-old has been sharing videos of himself working hard in the gym on Instagram this week. This morning, he was spotted in Kirkby with his colleagues in footage that was posted to LFC’s official social media accounts.
Sharp-eyed Reds supporters may have also noticed something a little odd about the forward’s outfit. Instead of his usual squad number 11, which presently belongs to Thiago Alcantara—who, regrettably, has suffered yet another setback in his injury—his shorts were embroidered with the number 6.
Although we’re not entirely clear why Salah was sporting what appeared to be a teammate’s uniform, seeing him at the AXA Training Center is a huge encouragement for Liverpool as they look to go back to winning ways on Saturday!
