Due to injuries sustained by Danilo and Tom Lawrence during Rangers’ victory over Hearts, the striker may require knee surgery. Rangers will play Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, with the match beginning at three o’clock.

It is possible that striker Danilo may require surgery for a knee injury that he sustained against the Hearts on Wednesday night. Additionally, midfielder Tom Lawrence will be sidelined until at least the winter break due to a muscular condition that caused him to leave the game in the first half at Tynecastle.

After their final Europa League group game against Real Betis in Spain on Thursday night, Rangers will prepare for the Viaplay Cup final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park. The match will take place on Saturday, when Rangers will play Dundee in the Premiership.

The manager of the Gers, Philippe Clement, who will enter the transfer market in January to look for a replacement for Danilo, had this to say: “Tom will be out for sure until the winter break, and Danilo will also be out until that time, so that is not so good.”

Because there is a good likelihood that he needs surgery, the answer is yes; it might be a long-term plan.

The players have been incredibly driven, and they were doing well. It is now time to focus on the ones who are fit since we have really crucial games coming up. This is a major blow for the players because they were really motivated.
