Following his most recent performance for England, Jude Bellingham and James Maddison both wrote notes to Trent Alexander-Arnold, a star for Liverpool.

Trent Alexander-Arnold stood out in midfield as England defeated Malta 2-0 at Wembley on Friday, despite the lackluster performance.

This season, the 25-year-old has been playing for Liverpool as an inverted full-back. Furthermore, Gareth Southgate has been utilizing the Liverpool star in midfield lately due to fierce contention for a spot at right-back in the England team.

Considering that Alexander-Arnold won Man of the Match on Friday night, it’s safe to say that his performance impressed the media.

In the midfield against Malta, he began the match with Conor Gallagher and former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

Without a doubt, Alexander-Arnold was the night’s most impressive performer in the middle of the field, and James Maddison and Jude Bellingham of Tottenham have praised him on social media for his efforts.

Alexander-Arnold’s most recent England exhibit was adored by Bellingham and Madison.

Yesterday, Alexander-Arnold used Instagram to share his happiness following his victory at Wembley.

“Friday Night Lights,” he penned.

Bellingham and Maddison, the latter of whom was obviously a fan of the Liverpool player donning the No. 10 shirt, both wrote comments underneath the post.

Even though Alexander-Arnold has had great success for Liverpool throughout the years, he has not been able to establish himself internationally.

This is mostly because Southgate likes to use Kyle Walker, a star for Manchester City, at right-back since he provides more defensive stability.

But with Bellingham and Declan Rice the only surefire starters for now, a spot in the starting lineup may be up for grabs if Alexander-Arnold keeps up his impressive play in the middle of the field.

In fact, Southgate has faced a great deal of backlash for his selection of Henderson and Kalvin Phillips in his most recent England lineups.

While Henderson has stepped down in the final stages of his career after transferring to the Saudi Pro League during the summer, Phillips has battled to get minutes at City.

Even though Alexander-Arnold doesn’t play in midfield for Liverpool all the time, he must slide into the middle of the park as part of his position under Klopp.

He’s demonstrated his ability to play center midfield, and it would be intriguing to see him team up with Declan Rice and Bellingham for England.
